The 2009 summer property owners' meeting was held at 1:00 PM Sunday, August 30th,
at Bill and Mary Padgett's home, 3852 Sheep Ranch Road.

The 2009 annual meeting was well attended and we discussed several matters of mutual concern for all the lake's caretakers.  Special thanks go out to Bill and Mary and their children for being so generous with their time and help in arranging the meeting and providing some tasty snacks!  Mary Lewandowski put a lot of time and attention into the meeting topics and gathered important information about lake/environmental quality.  Mike Backes and others made suggestions and presented data about maintaining the unique quality and ambiance of the Soo Lake environment.
We will have a blog spot soon so that updates and input from can be presented and read more efficiently.  Feel free to say "Hello" to others on the lake or post a comment, criticism, or suggestion.  We're all "in this together" so cultivating a sense of community...even if more virtual than physical... is of benefit to all of us who have the good fortune to spend time on this little gem of a lake.  A spring walleye spawning improvement project is planned!  Details will be posted after ice out.

We are looking for someone to volunteer to host the 2010 "get-together"
and then we can set a date that works best for everyone.
